I built a BA2018 wanes linestage into mine, it was a pleasure to use the internal shelf and not to have to drill holes in the bottom of the case. The 10mm Aluminum face plate was a challenge however forester bits worked wonderfully.

This probably the best 2U case you can buy if you don't need heatsinks. The Dissipante cases are great but this blows them out of the water.

I would like some sort of bracket on the rear panel to prevent it from flexing but you can grab one at a hardware store easy enough.

Ordered the DIY 2U chassis for my preamplifier project. The chassis shipped from Italy and arrived more quickly than much of my USPS mail! The chassis is a nice piece of kit and went together quickly. When the project is done, I will include pictures of the finished produce in a subsequent post.

Very excellent quality case, cannot fault the fit and finish one bit. This is exactly what I needed for my DAC/Amplifier project. Surprisingly fast shipping, took only 1 week from Italy! Highly recommended.

Fast efficient delivery of product. Case are good value but one should really order the bottom backplane as the top and bottom lids do not have support in the middle. Depending on the weight of installed internals the bottom may not be as sturdy as you'd like.

The cases look great and the 10mm front panel is very nice. Finish is excellent.

I ordered this case to house a 4 phase signal generator and associated amplifiers to build a speed control for my turntable. I ordered a larger case than needed to allow space to house a tachometer for the turntable as well (projects by DIYAudio members in the "analog source" forum.) The case arrived quickly and very well packaged. It could have used a packing list and assembly instructions but we all like a little challenge now and then, after all it's DIY, right?

I am very pleased with the chassis and will be shortly ordering a deluxe 5U case for my work in progress F5T.
