Backorders
What is a Backorder?
A backorder allows you to order products currently out of stock but due to arrive soon. By placing a backorder, you reserve items before they're restocked, ensuring you don't miss out.
Why Place a Backorder?
-
Reservation: Guarantee availability by reserving popular products ahead of time.
-
Convenience: You can order now and not worry about missing a back-in-stock email in the future. It's as easy as placing a regular order and you can combine in-stock and backordered items in the same purchase.
-
Save on Shipping: Only pay for shipping once, no matter how many items your order includes.
How Does it Work?
-
Choose Your Items: Products available for backorder display an Estimated Shipping Date (ESD)—our best estimate of when they'll be ready.
-
Place Your Order: Checkout normally. Mixing backorder and in-stock products is fine. Note that everything will ship together at the same time - one order one shipment.
-
Your Order is Prepared: As your backordered items arrive, we set them aside exclusively for you.
-
Shipping Notification: When everything is ready, we'll email you to confirm your preferred shipping date or offer you the option to select a later date if needed.
