Lost Packages
Refer to the Domestic USA, Canadian, or International Shipping Information pages to find your shipping method's Expected Delivery Window (EDW). If the window has passed without your order being delivered, please email our helpdesk. We will send you a replacement via the original shipping method ASAP.
Shipping Damage
For visible external damage: Before accepting the shipment from the delivery driver, please inspect the outside of the package for visible damage. Note any issues to the driver, accept the package, retain damaged packaging, and email our helpdesk for a replacement.
For concealed internal damage: Within 7 days of delivery, inspect and photograph any concealed damage found in the contents, and email our helpdesk for a replacement.
Missing Parts
Small parts can easily get misplaced from opened packages. To avoid this, open your packages in a clean, organized area, and reseal them until ready for use. If you notice any missing items, notify us within 90 days of delivery or 7 days of opening the package, whichever is earlier. If an error occurred on our end, we'll quickly send a replacement.
Change of Mind Returns
We gladly accept returns of unused items in their original, undamaged packaging within 30 days of receipt.
Step 1. Request Authorization First
Email contact@diyaudiostore.com with your order number and the items you’d like to return. We’ll reply with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions. Returns sent without prior authorisation will be refused.
Step 2. Choose how you’d like your money back
We will refund your full original order price less the deductions listed below.

Tip: Opting for a store credit avoids us needing to deduct card processing fees
Use any trackable service you prefer and ship to the exact address on your RMA. You are responsible for return shipping costs and safe arrival; we recommend adequate packaging and insurance.
Please allow up to 21 days from receipt of the return at our warehouse for inspection and issuance of your refund or credit.
Defective Goods
Please test all parts with a multimeter or suitable test tool before using them to ensure they're not defective. Report defective goods within 90 days of receipt for replacement or refund. Parts showing signs of soldering, use or mechanical stress are not eligible for refund or replacement. Email a photo of the defective part and your test results to contact@diyaudiostore.com.
We always use the highest-quality controlled-supply-chain parts from top-tier suppliers like Digikey and Mouser. Although defects are rare, they can occur.
Parts can easily get damaged through mechanical stress or overheating during soldering. You can avoid stress damage by holding leads close to the part with long nose pliers before bending the lead. Cold solder joints are often the problem when a part seems defective. Good soldering technique and materials can prevent this. When soldering we recommend using a high quality soldering iron with a chisel tip, a quality eutectic solder, and good soldering technique in order to not overheat parts or lift circuit board tracks. Low ohm resistors may show test lead resistance, not the resistor's. You can subtract the test lead resistance or build a milliohmmeter, but usually, you can trust the manufacturer's tolerance.

Incorrect Shipping Address
Please double-check your delivery address before placing your order. We are not liable for lost or returned parcels or return shipping costs due to an incorrect address.
Duties and Taxes
The purchaser is responsible for paying any import duties, taxes, and associated fees for international shipments. The carrier or local customs will contact you for payment; please respond promptly. Ensure the contact information you provide with your order is accurate and regularly checked, as it will be used by authorities. We are not liable for losses due to inadequate contact information. Failure to pay fees may result in your package being returned or destroyed, with return shipping costs deducted from your refund. Refunds are issued only after returned goods are received by our warehouse.

After you receive your order, please contact us within the following time periods:
- Shipping damage: 7 days
- Change of mind: 30 days
- Defective goods: 90 days
- Missing parts: 90 days, or within 7 days of the date you opened the product's sealed packaging (whichever comes sooner)
