Best Audio Operational Amplifier DIP "Chip" Available

I built all of the analog components in my hi-fi system (preamplifier, tube preamplifier, power amplifier and speakers). I'm always tinkering with my system trying to improve its sound. I've been using eight Burson V6 Vivid Opamps in my Setup for the last year or so and was very pleased with them. They were very detailed, transparent and provide a good soundstage. I had thought that I was getting all that I could out of my system and believed that I would need to look at getting a better source (Pro-Ject Stream-Box S2-Ultra, Denafrips ARES II DAC) if I was to improve the sound. Before doing so, I thought I'ld try Burson's new V7 Vivid Opamps. I replaced the four of the V6's (in the signal path) with the V7s. I was immediately blown-away with the result. After burning them in (~100 hrs), I'm over the moon happy with them and my system. For now, I see no need to change anything - I'm just enjoying my system.

Loving it...

I've had the V4, V5, V6 ( Vivid and Classic ) and now I got a set of V7 Vivids ( a pair of duals and a pair of singles ). They are installed in a Burson Swing DAC.

The sound has a lot of pace. The V6s were good, I ended up with the V6 Vivids in it for three years.... but now I updated to the V7s. I find the music to have a very good balance, rock specially has a real appeal. Voices are clear, the bass is fast and taught and the treble extended.

By comparison, the V6 sounded a bit "slower".

Now, my next step is to use these op amps in the P3 Pearl... but, first, I need to get more because I'm not pulling the ones I got from the DAC.

BTW, it'd be nice if the DIY Audio store would carry the singles. I bought the duals here but had to buy the singles from the Burson store directly.
