Description

The Burning Amplifier series is an ecosystem designed by Nelson Pass comprised of two front ends (feedback, and zero feedback), and two output stages (single ended, and complementary). These 4 parts are all compatible with each other and can be used interchangeably to create 4 different styles of class A amplifier:
  • Local feedback, Single Ended
  • Local feedback, Complementary
  • Zero feedback, Single Ended
  • Zero feedback, Complementary
Additionally, the zero feedback front end has proved very popular as the basis for  the BA-3 Preamplifier.

Please visit the Burning Amplifier Helpdesk Thread for any questions you might have and for a definitive list of links to all articles and discussions about the Burning Amps.

Boards designed for mounting active component directly to heatsinks share a common universal mounting specification so you can tap your holes once and then re-use those holes for future projects, very handy if you'd like to experiment with several designs on a single chassis!

Please view the Burning Amplifier Configuration Guide to choose the appropriate PCBs for your your desired Burning Amplifier.
