How many days does it take for a package to be considered lost?
Each shipping method has its own Days Before Lost (DBL) metric. See USA, CA, and Rest of World.
You need to wait DBL days since there was last movement in your tracking for carriers to consider your package lost rather than delayed in-transit.
To calculate how many days have passed, note the last date mentioned in your tracking, then use this business day calculator.
- Before DBL days have passed your package is considered in-transit
- After DBL days have passed we can ship you a replacement
If you purchased Extended Shipping Protection we can halve this waiting period because we don't need to wait for the carrier to agree your package is lost.
