ACP+ Complete Kit

This was my second build (my first was an Amp Camp Amp). It went together in an afternoon of soldering with no errors. The build guide was exceptional, but I reckon you could do it just as easily by reading the schematic and BOM if you've done any projects like this before. It's that easy.

Regarding the sound: it sounds swell! Compared to my other headphones amplifier (a Schiit Asgard 3), the soundstage is deeper and more dynamic. I'm noticing new details and texture in well produced music I know and love. Even when listening to poorly recorded tracks, I find them more engaging than before - it's hard to explain, but going back and forth between the two amps, the effect is undeniable. I didn't expect this big of a jump from an entry level project.

Given the price and time commitment, there's no reason not to give this project a shot. Worst case scenario, you end up with a cool looking conversation piece which sounds really good. Best case: you're now addicted to DIY audio and have a new hobby.

I’ve built plenty of projects at all levels of difficulty - this was definitely the easiest. I highly recommend it for a first time builder.
At the moment I have been using it as a headphone amp to drive some massdrop Sennheiser 58X headphones.

I will probably build a battery power supply for it sometime down the track but right now, I am enjoying it exactly in its stock configuration.

I have built four kits from the diyaudiostore, I trust the quality of the instructions and video to help me assemble a successful kit. I am very disciplined and imspect each component and measure the individual parts where possible. The simplicity of Pass designs is a major impact on the circuit performance. Thanks again to Papa
