You may have noticed the store has got a bit of a facelift.
We've been busy over the last few months upgrading and modernizing almost every system that the store uses, in order to provide you with a better experience, more affordable shipping options and better communications.
All customers
- Store navigation has been updated to include project based as well as category based menu items.
- Ordering Information, Refunds and Returns, Domestic Shipping, Canadian Shipping and International Shipping pages have been refreshed
- We now offer optional Enhanced Shipping Protection
- White-glove priority handling, halved wait times, express reshipments
- A small extra fee added to your order based on the value of your cart
- All chassis now ship from the USA
- We are no longer dropshipping chassis from Italy.
- We now stock a small but growing range of chassis in our US warehouse and are focusing on US origin shipments.
- Everything that was previously available is still available for purchase directly from Hifi2000.
- More chassis will be added in the near future
USA customers
- Our UPS rates have improved.
International customers
- DHL Express
- We no longer offer DDP (Delivered Duties Paid).
- You are soley responsible for paying your duties and taxes.
- Our DHL Express rates have improved.
- DHL eCommerce
- No change (you pay your duties and taxes as before).
What's coming next?
The biggest changes we've made are in our back-end systems (those you cannot see). What these changes will allow us to do is to improve the store much more easily as time goes on, unencumbered by legacy systems.
