I purchased 4 Preamplifier chassis for the first time, I received them quickly and in the new condition as sent. I assembled the first chassis with the few additional options punched back plate for the fuse holder and the IEC socket, 10mm face plate (nice the only to go) and a bottom plate that has a zillion holes for stand-offs to mount anything thing that will fit in the case. It allows me to mount circuit boards (power supplies, transformer, muting board etc.) on this bottom plate with the ease of neatly run wiring on the underside for a store bought fit and finish. I had a friend punch the input and output holes for the RCA jacks, well two panels were BAD so I contacted DIY Audio on a replacing the damaged plates. Let me say it this way, if half the places we purchase items conducted business with the professional manner shown to me, we all would be in a better place. Quickly they got the ball rolling and the back panels were at my door step. The chassis are the best bang for the buck, the replacement back plates followed suit extremely reasonable. There are about 8 if us DIY’ers scattered all over we are sold on their product.
